Q1: What are the requirements that my website has to meet?
Please review
website compliance rules.
Q2: Is it required to have an English language version of the website?
It is not required while you are already processing with PayLane.
However, during the application process your website will be a subject to website compliance check – we will verify whether the layout and content of information meet the requirements of Credit Card Organizations.
Therefore, at the initial stage of our cooperation, providing English translation of the whole website content is mandatory.
Q3: How many URL addresses may I register with my merchant account with PayLane?
You can register as many URLs as you wish with your merchant account, add them or remove from the list with no additional cost.
It is important that you let us know about all the URLs that you will be using for payment processing with PayLane.
However, please note that all web addresses should reflect the business model(s) declared to PayLane. Totally different types of business will require separate merchant accounts.
Q4: I do not own any website at all. I plan to sell my products/services on e-bay. May I still use your services?
Unfortunately, we require our merchants to be the owners of domains that will be used for online sales.
Q5: I would like to apply for your merchant account, but my website has not been finished yet. Is it a problem?
It is all right – you still can apply and finish your website before we move to the website compliance check stage.
For detailed information about the procedure, refer to our
Application Process.
Q6: Do you require PayLane’s logo to appear on my website?
No – it is not mandatory.
Q7: Is it possible to use one merchant account both for website and mail or telephone order sales (MOTO)?
We require separate contracts for websites and MOTO sales. However, it does not affect the schedule – both merchant accounts can be set up at the same time.
